When we shut down Windows, if we have any programs running we get a message box
warning that a program is still running. Then we have to close the program and tell Windows
again to shut down. It’s a fairly pointless warning—better yet would be if Windows automatically
killed the programs without issuing the warning.
That way, we wouldn’t get error messages and
wouldn’t have to close each individual application before shutting down computer. Beware,
though; if forcibly close an application that has unsaved changes (such as a word processor),we've chance to lose all work.

To have Windows automatically close programs at shutdown:
- open run command
- write regedit and press enter
- search HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop
- Double click AutoEndTasks and set the value to 1
To disable it set the value to 0.
